Client Compliance Policy
Last Updated: August 16, 2026
K's Kare Givers operates in strict accordance with state and federal regulations governing Personal Care Agencies. This compliance ensures that you receive high-quality, legitimate care services.
1. Regulatory Standards
We comply with all regulations set forth by the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) and other relevant oversight bodies. This includes maintaining proper licensure, conducting thorough background checks on all employees, and adhering to required training standards.
2. Funding Source Compliance
If your care is funded through Medicaid, Anthem Managed Care, Veterans benefits, or other third-party payers, we must comply with their specific rules regarding documentation and service delivery. This means:
- Caregivers must accurately document the tasks performed during each shift.
- We can only provide the specific services and hours authorized by your care plan or funding source.
- We are obligated to report significant changes in your condition to your case manager or relevant authority.
3. Fraud, Waste, and Abuse
We are committed to preventing healthcare fraud. We ask our clients to partner with us in this effort by:
- Verifying caregiver timesheets accurately, ensuring they only sign for time the caregiver was actually present.
- Never asking a caregiver to document tasks that were not completed.
- Reporting any suspicious billing or documentation practices to our office immediately.
4. Client Responsibilities
While we strive to provide exceptional care, successful compliance is a partnership. We rely on clients and their families to provide a safe working environment, communicate changes in needs, and cooperate with our care coordinators to maintain accurate records.
