At K's Kare Givers, we maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and safety in all aspects of our operations. This policy outlines the expectations for all employees to ensure a safe, respectful, and legally compliant environment for our staff and clients.
1. Ethical Conduct
All employees must conduct themselves with integrity, honesty, and fairness. This includes:
- Treating all clients, their families, and colleagues with dignity and respect.
- Refraining from any form of discrimination, harassment, or abuse.
- Maintaining professional boundaries with clients and their families at all times.
- Accurately reporting time worked, services provided, and any incidents that occur during shifts.
2. Safety Protocols
The safety of our employees and clients is paramount. Employees are required to:
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines when providing care.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Immediately report any hazards, unsafe conditions, or accidents to a supervisor.
- Ensure they are physically and mentally fit to perform their duties.
3. Reporting Unethical or Unsafe Behavior
If an employee observes or suspects unethical behavior, safety violations, or any form of abuse or neglect, they are obligated to report it immediately. Reports can be made to a supervisor, management, or through our designated confidential reporting channels.
We strictly prohibit retaliation against any employee who reports concerns in good faith.
4. Training and Compliance
All employees will receive initial and ongoing training regarding ethics and safety policies. Failure to comply with these policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
