At K's Kare Givers, the safety, dignity, and well-being of our clients are our highest priorities. We are committed to providing care that is ethical, respectful, and focused on your unique needs.
1. Client Rights
As a client of K's Kare Givers, you have the right to:
- Be treated with courtesy, respect, and full recognition of your dignity and individuality.
- Receive care that is free from physical, mental, or verbal abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
- Participate in the development and modification of your personal care plan.
- Receive care without discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
- Have your property treated with respect.
2. Safety in the Home
We work with you to ensure your home environment remains safe while we provide care. Our caregivers are trained to:
- Identify and mitigate potential fall hazards or safety risks within the scope of their duties.
- Follow strict infection control and hygiene protocols to protect your health.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, including contacting emergency services and designated family members.
3. Ethical Care Delivery
Our caregivers are professionals who adhere to strict ethical boundaries. They are prohibited from:
- Accepting money, valuable gifts, or loans from clients.
- Assuming control of your financial or legal affairs.
- Providing medical advice or performing tasks outside their designated, non-medical scope of practice.
4. Reporting Concerns
If you ever feel unsafe, or believe a caregiver is acting unethically or inappropriately, we urge you to contact our office immediately. We investigate all concerns thoroughly and take necessary actions to ensure your safety and comfort.
